Elsewhere in Old Town, Eddie is inside the clock looking for that spare part. Hodge goes to fetch Morgan to help, leaving the broken chugscan behind, covered in a white tarp. When the trainees come across it, and hear its strange gibberish, they think it's the Mystery Chugger! Just then Eddie pops out of the clock, having found the cog he needs. This makes the trainees scream, which in turn makes Eddie drop the cog, which disappears into the undergrowth. The chugscan, though broken, still manages to find the cog, and soon order is restored in Chuggington!

Aarav and Gratian visit the crafting zone and Mandisa shows them how to make colourful caterpillar crafts using socks. The kids stuff the socks with wool and make caterpillar bodies with a string of yarn. Over in the paint zone, the kids give each section of their caterpillars a different colour, before adding googly eyes and pipe cleaner antennae.

When Francois and Cap'n Turbot can't stop vying for attention from their Grandma Tilly Turbot, she winds up riding a dolphin and surfing on Zuma's sub. The pups must rescue Grandma Tilly and the quibbling cousins. --- Carlos calls the Paw Patrol when a strange sound upsets the elephants into charging past a new jungle gym he's built for the monkeys. Sir Feathaz & Lady Feathaz are noisy and gregarious Common Starlings. On their track Mur-Mur-Mur-Muration, they show us that they are very sociable birds, and experts at mesmerising aerial displays. From a distance their iridescent feathers look black but look closer and you'll see they are purple and green. Starling beaks are yellow but when you look closer you can tell male as females apart by blue and pink edging along their beaks. Starlings are also excellent mimickers, a special skill that MC Sir & Lady Feathaz are only too happy to show off. Imitating a human voice, car alarms, electric guitars for the camera.

The kids love the shape of this plant, and name it "the Zig Zag Plant. ---- Insect Day is coming up at school and Elinor couldn't be more thrilled to finish her home-made butterfly costume. However, she quickly runs into a problem because she can't drink anything when her hands are busy being the wings in her costume! Elinor sets out to solve the problem with her Dad by learning how real butterflies drink. After some careful watching, she realizes that a butterfly doesn't even have a mouth but a proboscis, which looks like a long straw, and that's how they drink nectar from a flower! This gives Elinor the idea to add a super long drinking straw to complete her costume.

Ginger and the Pea-Rexes are exploring in the Spooky Forest when Split discovers a glowing Chillipede and gives chase. Split's pursuit of the Chillipede leads to a frenetic and spectacular journey until Split loses sight of the Chillipede in an overgrown root-maze and realizes they're lost, alone, and all of a sudden very scared. As Ginger harnesses her auditory skills as a Tricarrotops to listens intently for Split, the terrified Wasabi keeps interjecting with a bellowing shriek. Split hears the call from Wasabi and they hone in on each other through an operatic call and response. Ginger is increasingly nervous as she can hear rustling in the trees but they manage to find one another and make a mad dash out of the spooky forest and find their way home.

The friends put together a circus with everyone performing a different circus skill. Frankie tries everyone else's skill but isn't very good at them. The friends realize that Frankie has made them all laugh so give her the best job of all: the clown.

One September morning, the kittens dream of how they would spend the day. Their plans include flying a kite, going to the playground, and even playing some badminton. After breakfast, the kittens rush to go outside but realize it is too cold to do any of their favourite summer activities in the fall. So, the kittens decided to create their own summer indoors. When they arrive, Mommy shows them all the different fun things they can only do in the fall. The kittens learn to be happy with any weather and go to the park and even make a pretty leaf crown for Mommy.
