Zephie has never worked in the Safari Park before, so she's excited to be taking the vet, Dr. Gosling, to give the animals their checkups. Emery teases her, saying she'd better watch out for the monkeys. They might pull her wipers or steal her bell! Zephie gets worried. When Dr. Gosling says he'd like to start with the monkeys, she asks if they can do the giraffes and elephants instead. When there's no putting it off anymore, Zephie makes an excuse and runs off! Unfortunately, she races right into the monkey enclosure. Seeing a monkey, she spins round in a frenzy, begging him not to pull her wipers! Then she notices that the monkey seems far more afraid of her than she is of him. She calms him down, speaking to him gently. Zephie suddenly remembers Dr. Gosling and goes to fetch him so that he can give the monkeys their checkups. No longer afraid, Zephie thinks monkeys are the best!

B.O.T. drops into Craggy, Sandy World. The hungry Galloping Yelp is hunting for grass. Also out looking for food is the Snorty Grunt, the Grunt sees some grass at the same time as the Galloping Yelp. The Yelp manages to snatch the grass just before the Snorty Grunt. The Grunt is not happy and chases after the Galloping Yelp. B.O.T. gets bounced up on to the Galloping Yelp's back as it races away from the Snorty Grunt. More Snorty Grunts join in the chase and B.O.T. is stuck on the Yelp's back being bounced about whilst trying to collect the data. B.O.T. completes the mission and zooms up to the portal. The chase ends when the delighted Galloping Yelp and Snorty Grunts discover a lovely meadow of long green grass, ready to be eaten!

They decide to give him a special going away present, but don't know what they should give him. The next morning, Elinor is woken up by a flock of birds making a special sound in the forest. She goes exploring with her mom and learns that some birds make a special call when they migrate, and that they leave, but always come back. This gives Elinor some comfort and inspiration: She and her friends come up with a going away song for Senor Tapir and sing it to him before he leaves.

B.O.T. lands in Spacey, Glowy World. The nervous Glowy Shiner peeks out of a crater and spots B.O.T. It quickly hides again. B.O.T. searches for the timid Glowy Shiner but keeps accidentally scaring it. Unfortunately for B.O.T., when the Glowy Shiner is startled, it blasts out a bright colourful tail. This dazzles B.O.T., making it tricky to collect the data needed to complete the mission. B.O.T. pretends to be asleep. The Glowy Shiner cautiously investigates the motionless robot. It nuzzles up to B.O.T. and purrs. B.O.T. takes some photos of the Glowy Shiner. It loves the camera flashes and happily shines its tail of rainbow colours. All data is now collected and B.O.T.'s mission is complete.

As he leaves, Action Chugger invites Brewster and Koko to come down to the film set later to demonstrate the skills they have learned. But Brewster gets called on a long run to Tootington and has no time to practise. Koko goes with him to keep him company - and puts her new skills to use when she saves Brewster from a runaway wagon! When they go to the film set later, Brewster is relieved when Action Chugger is too busy to see them, as he hasn't had a chance to practise. But a frustrated Koko is determined to show off what she can do. When filming starts, she sees her chance, but puts herself in great danger. Brewster overcomes his nerves and leaps to the rescue. Everyone is impressed, including Action Chugger, who decides to use the footage in his film.
